The Policy Forum for Wales is a division of Westminster Forum Projects (WFP), a private company with no policy agenda of its own which organises impartial and cross-party seminars on public policy. The Forum enjoys considerable support from within UK and national legislatures and governments, and more widely across stakeholder groups. The Policy Forum for Wales programme focuses on senior-level seminars across a wide range of devolved policy areas. Their conferences are frequently the platform for major policy statements from senior Ministers, regulators and government officials, opposition speakers, and senior opinion formers in industry and interest groups, which receive prominent coverage in the national and trade media.
Typically, attendees are a senior and informed group numbering around 120, including parliamentarians, assembly members, senior government officials and regulators involved in public policy, local authorities, service users, businesses and their advisors, trade unions, learned societies, representatives of citizen and interest groups, and academics – together with representatives of the national and trade press.
On Thursday 26 October 2017 in the Swansea Marriott Hotel, Maritime Quarter, Swansea SA1 3SS, the agenda will focus on Delivering the City Deal and developing the Swansea Bay City Region.
