Summer Fun with Tidal Lagoon…

Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay Plc will be exhibiting this summer at a series of events being held throughout Swansea Bay.

Our team will join in the fun and answer any questions that you have on the development of Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon starting with Aberavon Beach Festival on Saturday 25 June. Starting at 10am, the annual event features craft stalls and plenty of entertainment for all the family on the promenade of Aberavon Beach.

The free Wales National Airshow will then be returning to Swansea Bay on Saturday July 2 and Sunday July 3. Breathtaking aerobatic displays, state-of-the-art aircraft and vintage planes from the past will again be thrilling hundreds of thousands of visitors in the skies above Swansea this summer.

It’s the first time the Air Show will have been held on two consecutive summers as the council aims to make it an annual event and this year’s event is shaping up to be the best ever show. Displays confirmed so far include the Red Arrows, the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Bronco Demo Team, Static Chinook, Team Yakovlevs, Team Raven, Tigers Parachute Display Team, The Breitling Wing Walkers, Gerald Cooper and the MiG 15. You’ll find us there!

Eastside Carnival takes place on Saturday 9 July at Maesteg Park, St Thomas. The parade will leave Wern Terrace terminus at 12.00pm and travel along Danygraig Road, Port Tennant Road, St Ledger Crescent to the Park.

On Sunday 7th August, we will then be at the 99th annual Gower Show. The show is held in the beautiful grounds of Penrice Castle Park, Reynoldston.
