Making science fun for all the family!
Swansea University is to showcase its inspiring and diverse research as it launches a brand new, free, science festival, the largest event of its kind in Wales.
The festival will be held on 8-10 September and is in partnership with the National Waterfront Museum.
“The Swansea Science Festival will give people of all ages the chance to get involved and enjoy a hands-on experience of science, making it fun for all the family. The programme will include a very broad range of the world leading research carried out by Swansea academics.” Professor Hilary Lappin-Scott, Senior PVC, Swansea University.
Tidal Lagoon Power will be exhibiting and the festival has launched a full programme of events, revealing diverse topics such as dinosaurs, levitation, Star Wars, maggots and particle physics in sport! Entry is free and you can find out more here.
