Transforming the Regional Economy.
Regen have organised the 4th UK Regeneration Conference which will take place at City Hall, Cardiff on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October.
There will be an outstanding selection of speakers from Centre for Cities, Chartered Institute of Housing, Institute of Economic Development, Institute of Place Management, the Land Trust, Low Carbon Research Institute, NHBC, the UK Green Building Council, and of course, Tidal Lagoon Power.
Following the success of Regen’s three previous events in Liverpool, they are delighted to bring the leading forum for the industry – a vital and significant field that continues to transform the prosperity of every town and city in the UK – to Wales for the first time.
Cardiff and Swansea are at the heart of a major new regeneration effort. With the support of public and private-sector players (both to be strongly represented at the event), this offers great potential to transform the regional economy in a sustainable and inclusive way and help create vibrant and viable communities.
Mike Unsworth, Director of Engineering & Construction, will be speaking at the event and giving the latest update on the pioneering Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon.
The event is free to attend and includes a complimentary drinks reception and networking event at the end of Day 1 in the Assembly Room. Register to attend here.
