FOE Public Debate: Nuclear, Tidal Lagoons or Carbon Capture and Storage – which is the best option?

North Wiltshire Friends of the Earth have organised four expert guest speakers followed by a public debate on 16 May at 7.30pm to discuss the positives and negatives of nuclear, tidal lagoons, and carbon capture and storage.

The event will take place at Borough Lands Building, 32 Market Place, Chippenham, SN15 3HP and is a free event open to the public.

Speakers for the evening are:

Tidal Lagoon – Raquel Hughes, Investor Relations Director, Tidal Lagoon Plc.
Carbon Capture and Storage – Rodney Allam. Global Energy Prize and Nobel Prize Team Winner.
Pro-Nuclear – Speaker to be confirmed.
Anti-Nuclear – Dr. Rowland Dye. Hospital Medical Physicist and Active Campaigner.
