CIWEM is pleased to announce that Angela Gray becomes the 31st President of the Institution following her induction at the Mercure Hotel Cardiff on Friday 29 September 2017.

Angela has worked for Natural Resources Wales (and formally EA Wales) since 2002 and is very pleased to have been able to arrange the induction in Cardiff.

CIWEM would like to invite members and non members to join us for what will be an enjoyable and inspiring event.

Guest speakers, providing a series of mini-talks on environmental challenges include:

• Euan Hampton, Natural Resources Wales;
• Gwion Kennard, Atkins Ltd;
• Tracey Dunford, Natural Resources Wales;
• Melissa Mahaver-Snow, Natural Resources Wales;
• and Graham Hillier, Tidal Lagoon Power

Graham’s talk will focus on the environmental challenges and opportunities of our future energy needs.

Many of the CIWEM Trustees and Executive staff from HQ will be in attendance, so this is a great opportunity for you to meet them.
